Ap bio question pleease help!!?
Please help if you know any of them?
thank you so much!!
1. Describe the adaptations of seed pleants that have contributed to their success on land.
6. Distinguish between pollination and ferilization.
10. Compare the life cycles of mosses, ferns, conifers, and flowering plants in terms of:
a. Dominant life cylce stage (gametophyte/sporophyte)
b. Whether they are homosporous or hetersporous
c. Mechanism of game transfer
12. Explain how evolution of the flower enhanced the reporductive efficiency of angiosperms.
20. Explain how animals may have influenced the evolution of terrestrial plants, and vie versa.
Thank youuu!!
I should think these would be fairly easy to find, have you tried your class text?
For example the difference between pollin/fert.
Fertilization is the fusion of a sperm and egg to produce an ovule or seed eventually, while pollination is the transfer of pollen from the male anther to the female pistil of a flower…
As flowers evolved plants could attract biotic pollinators that spread the pollen from plant to plant efficiently. Pollinators are lured to flowers by a variety of methods, attractive bright colors, shapes, and scents that advertise the flower, plus the reward of nectar and pollen that is used as food by many insects. Insect/bird pollinators allowed plants to produce less pollen, and use less energy, since less is wasted than when being pollinated by the wind. It also allows cross pollination that increases the variety of combination of genetic characteristics.
