Buying a traditional style bicycle in London?
Is there anywhere in London that I can buy a traditional/dutch style womens step-through bicycle preferably made from aluminium not steel. I have found lots of shops that sell these on the internet but they are all outside the capital. I have also tried the big bike shops like Cycle Surgery and Evans but they told me “they aren’t popular anymore” so they only sell hybrid/mountain bike styles which I don’t like.
Any ideas?
There’s a market in Greenwhich that sells them. They are restored though. I would also agree with the other answerer who says that steel is better.
